FIELD TRIP
We went on a field trip to see the Black Brant.
I maybe saw 40 Brant, maybe even 50. We even saw eelgrass and sea lettuce.
We saw seals and sea lions, too.

A POEM
I fly above the world but still under the
moon. I see a fish in the lake but don't land for fear I'll fall asleep
and not wake till dawn and get shot. So I fly on and see an owl -he soars
so swiftly and yet so quiet. The only light is the moon. From where I am
it is so beautiful but getting bad and will get worse. So take care of
our earth.
